The w3 Awards is open to all organizations and individuals crafting projects across Websites, Video, Online Marketing, Podcasts, Social, Creators, AI, Immersive, Software, and Mobile Apps. Any work created between January 1st, 2024 and this year’s Final Deadline may be entered. All submissions must be accessible from the time of entry through November 2026.

Entries received will be subject to review and those submissions determined inappropriate or to be of a discriminatory/offensive nature will be disqualified with no refund of fees. This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic material, racial slander and defamatory statements.

Non-English projects are welcome, but we recommend providing an English version, as most AIVA jurors speak English. Entries in non-language-dependent categories may be submitted without translation; however, an English version is strongly encouraged to ensure clarity during review.

Entries must be submitted online using the w3 Awards entry form. Once the entry has been completed, entrants will receive an email confirmation.

Websites, Podcasts, Video, AI, Software and Mobile Apps & Sites:
Entries should be submitted providing a direct URL that will guide judges to the specific work to be evaluated. If your work is password protected you will need to provide a username and password for judging purposes. Entries will be judged solely on the content provided as we do not allow for additional supporting documents or explanation. Ensure that any shared links (e.g., Figma, Google Drive, or other cloud-based platforms) have commenting, editing and collaboration features disabled.

For subscription based platforms/apps, for which providing guest login credentials is not an option, we recommend that entrants setup and submit a case study page or upload a case study video.  The case study can include a project description, case study film, demo video, screenshots, customer feedback, etc.  Feel free to include as much information as possible for the judges’ consideration.

Note: Video entries must have been created exclusively for the web and must have premiered on the internet.

Immersive Videos and Content:
VR/360 projects must be viewable via one of our accepted VR platforms (including: Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR, or Google Cardboard). We request that you provide a link to a 360° video file (.mp4, url), or an app download package (.apk) – all posted on a url. Ensure that any shared links (e.g., Figma, Google Drive, or other cloud-based platforms) have commenting, editing and collaboration features disabled.

Social Media & Creators:
Entries should be submitted on a single HTML page or URL containing your creative work for that entry only. The page may be password protected, however you will need to provide a username and password for our judges if necessary. For social entries containing multiple components, you may provide a direct link to a single page that includes all of your supporting elements. This will ensure that your entry will be fully evaluated and will give you the opportunity to provide the full scope of your work for judging. Ensure that any shared links (e.g., Figma, Google Drive, or other cloud-based platforms) have commenting, editing and collaboration features disabled.

Online Marketing:
Entries should be submitted on a single HTML page containing your creative work for that entry only. The page may be password protected, however you will need to provide a username and password for our judges if necessary. If entering more than one marketing piece, please include a direct link to the individual work instead of one page that includes all of your entries. This will ensure that each piece is being reviewed on its individual merits in the categories specified. Ensure that any shared links (e.g., Figma, Google Drive, or other cloud-based platforms) have commenting, editing and collaboration features disabled.

Note: Campaign entries must be submitted on a single HTML page containing the creative elements of the campaign, or links to each element. As part of a campaign entry, you may also elect to provide background information, statistics and other details about the campaign as part of the entry, however this information must also be provided on the single HTML page.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) as well as checks and money orders. International entrants must pay by credit card or send an international money order or a check in U.S. funds drafted on a U.S. bank.

Note: We do not accept purchase orders for payment of entries.

The w3 Awards assumes all entries are original and the entrant either owns the submission or has permission from a client or other appropriate party to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. In the event that an entrant without such rights submits an entry, the entrant will not be eligible for the competition. The w3 Awards are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. Submission of any entry acknowledges the right of the w3 Awards to use it for exhibition and publication in any medium, however work entered into the competition can remain private upon written request from the entrant. Timely submission of an entry meeting the eligibility requirements and payment of the entry fee as stated herein ensures that an entrant’s work will be reviewed and considered for recognition. No other representation or warranty is made by the w3 Awards concerning entries and all implied warranties are hereby expressly disclaimed.

If an entrant’s submission receives an award, the manner and details of announcing such nomination and award is strictly within the discretion of the w3 Awards. Entrant understands that all awards may not be given or publicized in the same manner or form.
