We accept all major credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card) as well as checks and money orders. International Entrants must pay by Credit Card or send an International Money Order or a check in U.S. funds drafted on a U.S. bank. NOTE: We do not accept purchase orders for payment of entries.
Eligibility
The W³ Awards Competition is open to all organizations and individuals involved in creating, designing, maintaining, or promoting websites, online marketing or original video content created for the web. To be considered eligible for the W³ all work must be accessible from the time of entry through November, 2008.
Entries received will be subject to review and those submissions determined inappropriate or to be of a discriminatory/offensive nature will be disqualified with no refund of fees. This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic material, racial slander, and defamatory statements.
If you have questions regarding eligibility please email us at info@w3award.com or call us at 606.326.9326.
Language Restrictions
While non-English works are not excluded, it is suggested that they be accessible in English format as most members of the IAVA are predominantly English speaking judges. Non-English work can be entered in certain categories if judging in those categories is not dependent on language; however we highly recommend you provide an English version of the work you wish to enter.
The Entry Process
Websites, Web Video and Web Marketing Programs can be entered. Entries must be submitted online using the W³ online entry form. Once the online entry form has been completed, entrants will receive an email confirmation.
Websites and Web Video: Website and Web Video entries should be submitted providing a direct URL that will guide judges to the specific work to be evaluated. If your work is password protected you will need to provide a username and password for judging purposes. Websites and Web Videos entered will be judged solely on the content provided as we do not allow for additional supporting documents or explanation.
Note: Web Video entries must have been created exclusively for the web and must have premiered on the internet.
Web Marketing Programs: Web Marketing entries should be submitted on a single HTML page containing your creative work for that entry only. The page may be password protected, however you will need to provide a username and password for our judges if necessary. If entering more than one marketing piece, please include a direct link to the individual work instead of one page that includes all creative to be judged. This will ensure that each piece is being reviewed on its individual merits in the categories specified.
